The natural evolution of a project

iKlivi is the line dedicated to international grape varieties, a recent project that complements the traditional iClivi native line.

A key step in the company's journey: not a new beginning, but the natural evolution of an existing project.

This transition was made possible in 2025 with the acquisition of the Kraoretto vineyard in Craoretto di Prepotto, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli.

Kraoretto: iKlivi's house

Today, the iKlivi project is entirely rooted in the Kraoretto vineyard, a fully south-facing site located in Craoretto di Prepotto, bordering the Bosco Romagno nature reserve, a rich biodiversity.

Entirely dedicated to international grape varieties, the vineyard is planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, grown on old vines that naturally promote balance, low yields, and expressive depth.

Kraoretto represents a permanent home for iKlivi, allowing the project to fully express its identity within an area with great vocation.

The territory

Kraoretto is located in Craoretto di Prepotto, in a hilly area historically recognized for the quality of its viticulture. The vineyard directly borders the Bosco Romagno, a nature reserve of great environmental value and rich in biodiversity. The typical soils of the area and the microclimate influenced by air currents from the Julian Alps favor wines of precision, balance, and a strong territorial expression.

The full southern exposure and natural ventilation allow for slow and even ripening of the grapes, preserving freshness, aroma, and structure.

The goal is not to shape the wine, but to allow the vineyard to express itself clearly and without excess.
